Dear Readers, I was wondering if you knew where the epic Nirvana Song “Come as you are” Guitar Riff was stolen from? and yes, I mean blatantly stolen from! A direct theft you could say, nothing subtle about this borrowing of possibly the most moving , driving and catchy Heavy duty Guitar Chord sequence ever. The guitar riff in question was created by none other than the most original guitarist in the Tribal Rock, Industrial Rock, Pagan Rock, Progressive Rock, whatever category you can think of categories, guaranteed this band influenced and will fit all the pigeon holes. They have inspired most powerful bands, from Metallica to Nirvana to Ministry and many a band, old and new musicians owe their Guitaring inspiration to this guy. The band is “Killing Joke“ and the Song is “Eighties” and the Guitarist is called “Big Geordie Walker” he is also the coolest looking guy you ever saw with an Axe, even Clint Eastwood would want to look like him! I have had the good fortune to see these masters of tribal stomp live and all I can say is that I had a rush going up and down my spine all night long at the power these guys display on stage, especially the Guitar Hooks. It felt like an ancient religious ceremony of Human Beingness! Have a listen to this video below and you will hear what I mean about that “famous Nirvana Guitar Riff“, not!
Remember, you too can create Great Guitar Riffs like this when you start working your groovy Guitar lessons from jamorama!

I heard that Nirvana admitted to the Killing Joke dude that yes, they did steal the riff or something to that effect, basically an apology that was accepted.
